The artist Greta Hällfors-Sipilä was married to the painter Sulho Sipilä. Through a series of naivist water-colours, she depicted her friends and family in an ironic light.

In the gay 1920's, people certainly knew how to have fun. One of the works however tells how not everything was just singing and dancing: there were also moments of solitude.
