Eric Sederholm in Four Countries
Mr. Sederholm in Four Countries is a joint internet based educational project of four city museums; Stockholm City Museum, Tallinn City Museum, Helsinki City Museum and the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg. The museums, together with primary school classes, a children's art school, youth centres and a museum school follow the footsteps of Eric Sederholm (1679-1751) in each of the four Baltic cities.		The project aims to examine the joint history of these four cities from different perspectives and give tools to learn not only about the past, but the present as well by giving people today means to understand their neighbours better and facilitate social interaction between different people across national borders and great geographical distances. The use of internet gives opportunity to further evolve the idea of interaction. The gained results and experiences from Netd@ys are used for the creation of Baltic Connection CD-ROM.
